Wolof Text-to-Speech by Baamtu

This Gradio app provides an interface for a Wolof language Text-to-Speech API developed by Baamtu. Users can generate speech from Wolof text with different voice configurations.

Features

• Streaming Mode: Generate and play audio directly in the browser
• Storage Mode: Generate audio and store it in S3 for later access
• Voice customization through descriptive prompts

Usage

• Enter the text you want to convert to speech (in Wolof)
• Provide your authentication token
• Customize the voice description if desired
• Click "Generate Audio" or "Generate & Store in S3"

API Connection

This app connects to a remote API endpoint for processing. The API status is checked when the app loads. Note: The app requires a running instance of the Baamtu TTS API to function correctly.
